Blanche Keith Dycus

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Keith Dycus, 93, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born August 13, 1919, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Burr J. Keith and Lucy Crabtree Keith. In 1941, she was married to the late Donald C. Dycus, who passed away June 1, 1976. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Robert Keith and Avery Keith; and 4 Sisters: Awba Jones, Grace Johnson, Pauline Kemp, and Ozina Clark. Survivors include 1 Son: Bruce L. Dycus of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Jennie (Dan) Huffines of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Angie Huffines (Aaron) Solomon of Nashville, TN, Gregory Dycus of Cookeville, TN, and Julie Huffines of Knoxville, TN; and 3 Great Grandchildren: Lillie Dycus, Grant Solomon, and Gracie Solomon. Thanks to all at NHC and Therapy and Davita Dialysis Clinic. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Kenneth Anderson will officiate at the services.
