He was born November 4, 1950, in Overton County, TN, to the late Cecil Mainord and Hazel Benson Mainord. He was married to the late Debbie Mainord. He was a post office worker. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Margaret Mainord. Survivors include 1 Son: Scott Mainord of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Jessica Young of Mt.
