Billy P. Hamilton

Funeral services for Mr. Billy P. Hamilton, 75, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M. and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at his residence in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born May 22, 1931, in Jackson County to the late Willie Hamilton and Vida Mae Hensley Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was a grounds keeper at Tennessee Tech University. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Donald Hamilton; and 2 Sons: Mark Hamilton and William Daniel Hamilton. Survivors include 2 Grandchildren: David M. Hamilton and Heather M. Hamilton, both of Baxter, TN; 1 Great-Grandchild: Gracie Hamilton of Smyrna, TN; 2 Brothers: George Hamilton of Cookeville, TN, and Daniel Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN; and 4 Sisters: Betty Smallwood and Ora Lee Knight, both of Jackson County, TN, Lella Jamison of Madison, TN, and Wanda Stafford of Bellingham, Washington.
