Billy Mack Dennis

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Mack Dennis, 62, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 P. M. - 9 P.M., Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A. M. until time of services. Mr. Dennis passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born February 23, 1945, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Cordell and Mildred Hensley Dennis. On November 10, 1965, he was married to Linda M. Dennis, who survives. He was an appliance repairman, and a member of the New Salem Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jack Dennis. Survivors include his wife: Linda M. Dennis of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Steve Dennis of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Janetta Dennis of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Summer Dennis and Austin Dennis; 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Bobby and Jean Dennis of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister and Brother-in-Law: June and Gene Smith of Celina, TN; and his mother-in-law: Rozell Brown of Gainesboro, TN.
