Billy Lewis Harris

Billy Lewis Harris was born July 24, 1938 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab Assisted Living in Gainesboro on July 23, 2021 at the age of 82. He was the son of Jessie Lee Harris and Cleo Cynthia Barnes Harris. He was a logger and a member of the Silver Point Church of Christ. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Beverly Gail Harris and Annette Harris Woodard, brother, Roger Dale Harris and sister Dimple Mae Hawkins. Survivors include, daughters, Darlana Robichaud of Bloomington Springs and Brenda Carroll of Sparta, TN; brothers, Roy (Rhonda Lynn) Harris of Gainesboro and Willie Harris of Voss, TX; special niece, Maggie Harris-Caudill, special great nephew, Bradlee Caudill, sisters, Frances Johnson of Silver Point, TN, Margaret (Troy) Dockery of Cookeville, Vickie (Doug) Maynard of Carthage and Cynthia Ogletree of Sparta; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 25, 2021, 9am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home at 2 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2021 with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Pharris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Caris Hospice or Mabry Healthcare and Rehab by contacting the funeral home.
