Funeral services for Mr. Billy Joe Stafford, 66, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 7 P.M. on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017, at his residence, He was born November 7, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lex Stafford and Lula Stafford. On January 29, 1976, he was married to Nancy Stafford, who survives. He was a factory worker at Crotty, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: James "Big Jim" Stafford. Survivors include his Wife: Nancy Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: William Thomas (Tianna Nicole) Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Vicky Jean (Jason) Sayler of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Grandchildren: Elizabeth Jewel Sayler and Sarah Rose Sayler. Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the veteran's organization of the donor's choice by contacting the funeral home.
