Funeral services for Mr. Billy J. Lambert, 79, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born August 25, 1938, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Guster Lambert and Lillian Lambert. He was a farmer, and a member of the Church of Christ. He also served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren: Scott Dennis and Jade Lambert; 3 Brothers; and 1 Sister. Survivors include 1 Son: Billy Ray (Brandi) Lambert of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Linda Gore and Brenda Roach, both of Gainesboro, TN, and Rita Allen of Whitleyville, TN; 13 Grandchildren and 1 Grandson he raised, Brad Dennis; 15 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Half-Sister: Jean Young of Chestnut Mound, TN.
