Billy "Gene" Beechboard

Funeral services for Billy "Gene" Beechboard, 52, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 27, 1962, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Elzo Beechboard and Alice Beechboard Hawkins. He was a painter by trade, and enjoyed golf with his many buddies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Allen and Carrie Beechboard; and his Maternal Grandparents: Malcolm and Nannie B. Spivey. Survivors include his Step-dad: Doug Hawkins of Hilham, TN; Nephew: Brock Strong; Nieces: Olivia Strong, Atha Stinson, and Alison Loftis; 1 Brother: Wayne Beechboard of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Wanda (Carl) Lowe of Livingston, TN, Sue Strong of Gainesboro, TN, and Jackie Beechboard of Gainesboro, TN. Other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends also survive. Lakelan Barham and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
