Funeral services for Mr. Billy G. Ing, 83, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born June 23, 1930, in Nashville, TN, to the late Malcolm Ing and Emma Felts Ing. On January 31, 1953, he was married to Geneva Sue Ing, who survives. He was a printer at the Soil and Water Association of League City, TX, and of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and 3 years in the Air Force Reserve. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Ayree Casares; and 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Palmer W. and Iris Ing. Survivors include his Wife: Geneva Sue Ing of Cookeville, TN; 1 Son: James Elwin (Jayne) Ing of Stafford, TX; 2 Step- Granddaughters: Andrea Fuller of Stafford, TX, and Sandra Fuller of Sugarland, TX; 2 Step-Great-grandchildren; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Carol Ryan Thomas of Cookeville, TN, and Barbara Ryan Giles and husband, Pat Giles of Brentwood, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
