Funeral services for Mr. Billy Edward Stafford, 74, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in the Wartrace community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born June 18, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jimmy Joe Stafford and Lassie Rush Stafford. On November 5, 1960, he was married to Lyndell Stafford, who survives. He was an industrial mechanic at Russell Stover, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Jimmy Joe Stafford and Lassie Rush Stafford. Survivors include his Wife: Lyndell Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Steve (Sandy K.) Stafford of Cookeville, TN, Terry Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, and David (Sandy J.) Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Lisa (Mike) Oaks of Cookeville, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Josh Stafford, Sarah Stafford, Lindsay Young, James Patrick Stafford, Jennifer Kelley, Heather Oaks, and Victoria Head; and 6 Great Grandchildren: Jada Stafford, Aiden Stafford, Daltyn Hines, Mallorie Hines, Sydney Stafford, and Harlyn Younger.
