Billy E. Hix

Billy E. Hix was born March 29, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, and he passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN, at the age of 76.

He was the son of the late Johnnie Calvin Hix and Roxie Lee Hix. On September 4, 1965, he was married to Janie Hix, who survives. He was a truck driver, and a member of the Sugar Creek Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers: Bobby Kenneth Hix, Charles Hix, and Gene Hix; Sisters: Betty Scantland and Patricia Boles; and Grandchildren: Raylei Angel Mayberry and Alli Fayeth Mayberry.

Survivors include his Wife: Janie Hix of Gainesboro, TN; Daughters: Lisa (Jeff) Locke of Whitleyville, TN, Shelia (Christal) Hix of Gainesboro, TN, and Angie (Danny Mayberry) Savage of Whitleyville, TN; Grandchildren: Ashley (Matthew) Stafford, Justin (Brooke) Locke, Tristin (Mandy) Randolph, McKinzi Turner, Dustee Savage, and Lyndi-Mae Savage; and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
