Billy E. Christian

Funeral services for Billy E. Christian, 55, of Livingston, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at his residence. He was born July 3, 1955, in Jackson County, TN, to Frank Christian and Lillie Mae Christian. He was married to the late Betty Ann Fox Christian, who passed away May 20, 2009. He was a factory worker, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Bill Edward Christian and Ruby Ethel Warren Christian; and his Maternal Grandparents: Raymond Patterson Cherry and Lela Aline Copass Cherry. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Valeri Phillips of Chattanooga, TN; 1 Grandchild: Rayanna Phillips; his Parents: Frank Christian and Lillie Mae Christian of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Kenneth Christian of Gainesboro, TN, and Scottie Christian of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Trish Allen of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Jimmy Stafford and Bro. Bobby Scantland will officiate at the services.
