Billy Cleveland Flatt

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Cleveland Flatt, 68, of Warren, Michigan, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, September 3, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday from 9 A. M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Flatt passed away on Monday, August 29, 2005, at St. John' s Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI, after an extended illness. He was born July 7, 1937, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Everett Flatt and Onida Lee Carrington Flatt. On October 24, 1959, he was married to Linda Faye Lane Flatt, who survives. Mr. Flatt was retired from the Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a job setter repairman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Earl Flatt; and 1 Sister: Roberta Flatt. Survivors include his Wife: Linda Faye Lane Flatt of Warren, MI; 1 Son & Daughter-in-Law: Billy Wayne & Kimberly Flatt of Macomb Township, MI; 2 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Sharon Lynn and Chris Mofield of Puntagorda, FL, and Donna Michelle and Gary Lytle of Puntagorda, FL; 4 Grandchildren: Billy Wayne Flatt, Jr. and Aaron Ryan Flatt of Macomb Township, MI, and Emily Lytle and Bryan Lytle of Puntagorda, FL; 2 Brothers: Ray Flatt and Carl Flatt, both of Bloomington Springs, TN; and 4 Sisters: Betty Pergande of Antioch, TN; Joyce Wiggins of Goodlettsville, TN; Diana Lamons of Nashville, TN; and Jody Scarlett of Hendersonville, TN.
