Billy C. Gentry

Funeral services for Mr. Billy C. Gentry, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, November 17, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Cubb Creek Cemetery in the Cubb Creek community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Gentry passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 10, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Johnnie William and Daisy Scott Gentry. He was a food store clerk and manager, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Steve Dewayne Gentry; and 2 Brothers: Troy Eugene Gentry and Edward L. Gentry. Survivors include 1 Daughter and Son-in-Law: Debra and Terry Allen of Williamsburg, VA; 2 Grandchildren: Tracy Joy Gibson and Matthew David Manning, both of Williamsburg, VA; 4 Great-Grandchildren: Elizabeth Jackson, Dylan Gibson, Kaitlyn Gibson, and Gabriel Manning, all of Williamsburg, VA; 2 Brothers: William "Buddy" Gentry of Gainesboro, TN, and Roy Gentry of Baxter, TN; 1 Sister: Myrtle English of Antioch, TN; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Evelyn Gentry of Baxter, TN, and Mary Ann Gentry of Gainesboro, TN.
