Funeral services for Mr. Billy Buck 73, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born February 9, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Perry and Virgie Buck. He was married to Marie Buck, who survives. He was a retired supervisor from the Jackson County Highway Department. He loved family, farming, and helping others. He was a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Geraldine Scantland; 3 Brothers-in-law: Lawton Scantland, Ralph Ragland, and Wayne Phillips; and his Father-in-law: Dalton Phillips. Survivors include His Wife: Marie Buck of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Donny Buck and Jeff Buck, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Billie Jo Crabtree of Cookeville, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Bobby (Paige) Buck, Danny (Lindsay) Buck, Cody Buck, Katie Buck, Kyle Buck, Matthew (Hollie) Crabtree, and Luke Crabtree; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Buck, Cameron Buck, and Lorelei Crabtree; 2 Sisters: Wilma Buck and Martha Buck, both of Gainesboro, TN; Mother-in-law: Olene Phillips, 2 Daughters-in-law: Mary Buck and Jill Buck; 1 Son-in-law: Vernon Crabtree; Brother-in-law: Ricky (Sharon) Phillips; Sister-in-law: Judy Ragland; and 1 Niece: Carolyn Huffer. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Johnny Fox and Bro. Bobby Gore will officiate at the services.
