Funeral services for Mr. Billy B. Stafford, 75, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at his residence. He was born August 14, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jay P. Stafford and Mandy Ethel Stafford. He was married to Helen Sue Stafford, who survives. He worked in the lumber industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Melissa Gail Stafford; 4 Brothers: Raymond, John Thomas, Charles Richard, and Jimmy Dale Stafford; and 2 Sisters: Maybelle Stafford and Judy Carol Stafford. Survivors include his Wife: Helen Sue Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Billy W. Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Gladys Haney; and several grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
