Bill W. Ragland

Mr. Bill W. Ragland was born May 30, 1943 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Algood, TN at the age of 78. Mr. Bill was the son of George William and Lassie York Ragland. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired hospital administrator. Mr. Ragland served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter and son-in-law, Amy Ragland Russell and Jeff Russell, three sisters, Daffo Franklin, Kathy Bain and Linda Gail Shuffler, brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Linda Ragland and brother-in-law, Marvin Franklin. Survivors include very loving and caring companion, Betty Lacy of Cookeville, daughter, Laura (Josh) Wynn of Florida, four grandchildren, Dakota Ragland, Kendra Naspinski, Jaida Wynn and Zane Wynn; brother, Charles (Sue) Ragland of Gainesboro; two brother-in-laws, James Bain and Larry D. Shuffler both of Cookeville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox and Tommy Pedigo officiating.
