Bill E. Bumbalough

Funeral services for Mr. Bill E. Bumbalough, 79, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery on West Cemetery Road in Putnam County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M. - 8 P. M., Monday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born July 20, 1934, in Putnam County, TN, to the late J.T. Bumbalough and Lillian Palk Bumbalough. He was proprietor of Sta-Lo Market in Cookeville and Gainesboro for many years, and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Anna Ruth Bumbalough Bilbrey and Virginia Bumbalough; and 2 Brothers: Ray Douglas Bumbalough and Kenneth Bumbalough. Survivors include 2 Sons: Steve (Robyn) Bumbalough of Arlington, TX, and Austin Dois Bumbalough of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Daughters: Natalie Clark of Columbus, OH, Mary (Glyn) Crossno of Manchester, TN, April (Jason) Lynn of Gainesboro, TN, and Amber (Joseph) Draper of Whitleyville, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Brother: Taylor Bumbalough of Lebanon, TN.
