Bettye Bryan Chaffin

Funeral services for Mrs. Bettye Bryan Chaffin, 74, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Chaffin passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born November 16, 1933, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Killis and Gladys Young Raleigh. On August 28, 1954, she was married to Perry Chaffin, who survives. She was a factory worker and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jimmy Raleigh. Survivors include her husband: Perry Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Neal (Alma) Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN, and Robert (Lila) Chaffin of Nashville, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Teneal (Jackie) Jenkins of Gainesboro, TN, and Bettina (Jon) Dawson of Crab Orchard, TN; 1 Great- Grandchild: Mallory Lauren Jenkins; and 1 Brother: Dan (Joann) Raleigh of Algood, TN.
