Betty Sue Dunavent

Betty Sue Dunavent was born June 17, 1932 in Ages, KY and she passed away at her residence in Cookeville on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Walter Campbell and Bobbie Lawson Campbell. She was a former baker at Quincys Restaurant and a long time member of the Cummins Mill Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Doyle Dunavent, sons, Jack Doyle Dunavent, Jr. and Tommy Doyle Dunavent; daughter, Jackie Elizabeth Dunavent; granddaughter, Christina Marie Landsaw; sisters, Trilby C, Boggs, Joann Cauley and Madge Snyder; brothers, Luther Glen Campbell, Bill Campbell and Archie Campbell. Survivors include daughter, Bobbie Sue (Michael) Jones of Cookeville, grandchildren, Michael Thomas (Carla) Jones of Riverview, FL, Tammy Ann (Justin) Shaffer and Tonya Lynn Locke both of MI, Heather Lynn (Robert) Peiers and Jay (Maggie) White of Riverview, FL; great- grandchildren, Landon Locke of MI, Emma White of FL, Violet Holbert and Abby Holbert both of FL; special friend R B Wiley of Cookeville Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10, 2022 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and again on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Services will be at 1 pm on Friday, March 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Dodson Branch Cemetery.
