Mrs. Betty Joan Fields, 80, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. Her family has chosen cremation, with interment in Hartford, KS, at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. She was born December 13, 1934, in Coffey County, Kansas, to the late Oscar Archer and Lelia Zink Archer. She was married to the late Gerald L. Fields. She was a food services manager. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Bill Archer and Harold Archer. Survivors include 3 Sons: Larry Crum of Albuquerque, NM, Monte Keys of Hartford, KS, and Michael Keys of Wichita, KS; 2 Daughters: Cindy Kenneda of Cookeville, TN, and Vannesa Morris of Hartford, KS; 2 Brothers: Jack Archer of Natchez, Mississippi, and Rex Archer of Vidalia, LA; 1 Sister: Mary Jane Way of Texas; her Best Friend: Kathy Snelling of Topeka, KS; her Special Friend: Bill Judd of Emporia, KS; 22 Grandchildren; 39 Great-Grandchildren; and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
