Graveside services for Betty J. Flatt, 78, of Cookeville, TN, will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 1 P.M. at the Young Cemetery on Seven Knobs Road in Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at her residence. She was born October 18, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Durwood James Thomas and Fatchie Lou Thomas. She was married to the late Paul Flatt, who passed away in 2003. She worked as an inspector at C & M Clothing for 27 years. She was a member of the College Side Church of Christ and Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Reba Mayberry; and 2 Brothers: Donnie Thomas and Billy Paul Mayberry. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Tenna K. Flatt, Trena Renay Greenwood, and Tammy Faye Davis, all of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Grandchild: Chadwin Blake Greenwood of Cookeville, TN.
