Funeral services for Mrs. Betty C. Hix, 73, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Scott - Red Hill Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born February 17, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Omer Coffee and Thena Coffee. She was married to the late Jimmy Audrey Spivey. She was a factory worker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Second Mother: Josie Jones; 1 Sister: Judy Brown; 1 Daughter: Audrey Carol; and 1 Grandson: Joseph Parker. Survivors include 2 Sons: Jimmy (Debbie) Spivey of Dayton, OH, and Billy (Delisa) Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Sissy and Steve Morgan of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: J.R. Spivey, Joe Spivey, Casey Goolsby, Christopher Parker, Peggy Christian, Jessica Randolph, Taffini Key, B.J. Spivey, and Destiny Spivey; 15 Great Grandchildren: Kristin, Kaitlin, Luke, Cole, Logan, A.J., Timothy, Jayden, Banx, Tabithia, Ashley, Selena, Ruby, Diamond, and Jada 1 Great Great Grandchild: Jace; 2 Brothers: Harvey (Barb) Coffee of Franklin, KY, and Bob (Joyce) Coffee of Trotwood, OH; and 2 Sisters: Elise Allen Puckett of Dayton, OH, and Wanda (Jim) Holderman of Dayton, OH.
