Mrs. Betty A. Jones, age 57, a resident of Cookeville, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family has chosen cremation. No services are planned at this time. She was born April 13, 1950, in Cookeville, TN, to the late Freeman Harris and Marietta Bean Harris. On September 13, 1967, she was married to James M. Jones, Sr., who survives. She was retired from Tutco in Cookeville, and was a member of the Hamptons Crossroad Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband: James M. Jones, Sr. of Cookeville, TN; 1 Son: James M. Jones, Jr. of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Jamie and Steve Bennett of Sparta, TN; 1 Grandson: Steven Bennett of Sparta, TN; and 4 Sisters: Peggy Pippin, Jo Delaney, & Patsy Randolph, all of Cookeville, TN, and Gail Harris of Nashville, TN.
