Bethel D. Pippin

Bethel D. Pippin was born February 21, 1928 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Signature Health Care Center in Algood at the age of 93. He was the son of James Milton and Ethr Woodall Pippin. He was a factory worker and a member of the Bloomington Springs Church of Christ. Hw was married to Johnnie Ruth Young on February 9, 1962 for a total of 59 years of marriage. Mr. Bethel was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Arthur and Fred Pippin and sisters Lola Kirk and Elsie Haney. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Ruth Pippin of Bloomington Springs, sons, Bobby (Sheila) Pippin of Baxter and Randall Pippin of Bloomington Springs; brother, Bobby (Donna) Pippin of Melbourne, FL; granddaughters, Annalyn Pippin of Baxter and Maleia Jacobs of Murfreesboro; great grandchildren, Tucker Jacobs and Lillyanne Jacobs both of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews along with many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 3-6 pm and Monday, 12 noon till 2 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Young Cemetery or DaVita Dialysis by contacting the funeral home.
