Bessie Hutchison Pryor

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Hutchison Pryor, 92, of the Indian Creek community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Cubb Creek Cemetery in the Cubb Creek community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Pryor passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at her residence. She was born June 22, 1914, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Andrew Jackson Hutchison and Martha Alice Hutchison. On April 7, 1933, she was married to the late Toney V. Pryor, who passed away April 2, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Terry Edward Lane; 4 Brothers: Vascom, Willie, Lindsey, and Chester Hutchison; and 3 Sisters: Essie Pryor, Ada Savage, and Mai Flatt. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Blair and Mable Pryor of Pleasant Shade, TN; 2 Daughters and 1 Son- in-Law: Ruth Ann and Eugene Locke, and Linda Cherry, all of Whitleyville, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Mark Pryor, Randal Pryor, Tina Burgess, Jeff Locke, John Locke, Jason Locke, Tommy Lane, and Robin Moss; and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
