Funeral services for Mr. Bennie Stafford, 88, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Burris Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M., Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born February 24, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Lee Stafford and Lula Cantrell Stafford. He was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Joe, Tommie Ray, and Cecil F. Stafford. Survivors include 3 Sisters: Gladys Hunter, Ruby Morris, and Molene (George) Hamilton; 1 Sister-in-Law: Brenda Stafford; 4 Nieces: Irene Grissom, Shelby Hamilton, Kayla Hamilton, and Ellen Morris; 8 Nephews: Marty (Hannah) Flatt, William Hamilton, John Stafford, Nathan Morris, Glen Morris, Jimmy Bussell, Tyler Hamilton, and Mike Hamilton; 2 Great Nephews: Bradley Stafford and Charles Flatt; and 2 Great Nieces: Destiny and Rihanna Flatt.
