Barbie L. Sterry

Graveside services for Mrs. Barbie L. Sterry, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, April 13, 2007, at the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. No visitation will be held at the funeral home. Mrs. Sterry passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born September 2, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Martin Louis Hensley and Prudy Ann Hensley. She was a waitress, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thurman Junior Pippin; and 1 Infant Sister: Alene Hensley. Survivors include 1 Brother: John Willis Hensley of Jackson County, TN; and 2 Sisters: Liddie Thomas of Gainesboro, TN, and Margaret Newman of Ashland City, TN.
