Barbara Ann Spivey, 75, of Monterey, TN, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time. She was born July 27, 1943, in Detroit, MI, to the late Samuel Jackson Ward and Helen Ann Ward. On July 18, 1962, she was married to the late James Walter Spivey. She was a factory worker for Purdue Farms. Survivors include 1 Son: Darrin Spivey and his significant other, Sher Williams of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Doreen and Wayne Stacy of Gainesboro, TN, Kim Stacy of Gainesboro, TN, and Theresa and Steve Stout of Carsonville, MI; 4 Grandchildren: James Spivey, Ashley Schultz, Danielle Stacy, and Nickolas Stout; 6 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Eddie and Mary Ward of KY, Richard and Barbara Ward of MI, and Mark Ward of MI; and Special Friend: Coralyn Rose.
