Barbara Ann Lewis

Barbara Ann Hall Lewis of the Hurricane Community was born September 20, 1945 in Canton, OH and she passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her residence in Gainesboro at the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Joe Dennis and Clovie Olyne Witcher Dennis. She was a florist and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby G. Lewis and two brothers, David and Billy Joe Dennis. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Elrod and Debra (Timothy Prater) Petty both of Gainesboro; brother, Douglas (Cathy) Dennis of Murfreesboro; sister, Carol (Steve) Adcock of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Nikki (Joe) Schroeder and William (Lenea) Pippin of Gainesboro; great-grandchildren, Clay Burris, Chloe F. Schroeder, Jocelyn Pippin, John Parker Pippin, and Hunter Pippin all of Gainesboro. Host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, 11 am to 1 pm, with funeral services beginning at 1 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. James Bybee officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery in the Hurricane Community. In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to the Hall Family Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
