Barbara Ann Hestand

Barbara Ann Cassetty Hestand passed away on March 7, 2022 at Soddy Daisy Health Center in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee She was born on January 1, 1934 in Gainesboro, Tennessee and was the only child of the late Bradley Carl Cassetty and Maurine Belle Quarles. She attended Jackson County High School and graduated from Tennessee Tech University. She also received a masters degree from the University of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John Boone (JB) Hestand. She is survived by her two sons, John Brent Hestand and James Bradley Hestand of Hixson, TN They made their home in Chattanooga where she worked for Hamilton County Health Sciences. She later owned and operated Barbaras Hallmark Store on Market Street in Chattanooga. She was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixson, TN Graveside Services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11am at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN with Bro.
