Austin Garrett Ryan

Austin Garrett Ryan was born August 6, 1987, in Cookeville, TN, and he passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in Cookeville, TN, at the age of 36.

He was the son of Mickey Ryan and Tami Ryan. On September 18, 2021, he was married to Sonya Ryan, who survives. He was the manager at Rib City in Cookeville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Lyn Bearl Ryan and Wanena Joan Ryan; and Maternal Grandparents: Hugh Adams and Marilyn Joyce Bustos.

Survivors include his Wife: Sonya Ryan of Cookeville, TN; Son: Bryson Garrett Ryan of Cookeville, TN; Daughters: Sharissa Hancock, Jazlynn Hancock, and Falon Roberts; Parents: Mickey Ryan and Tami Ryan of Gainesboro, TN; Brothers: Justin Elliott (Jessica) Ryan of Sparta, TN, and James Drake Matheney of Gainesboro, TN; Sister: Tamicka Joyce (Jerry) Ryan of Crossville, TN; Grandchild: Amiralyn LaCour of Cookeville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 28 2023, at 6 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN, with Jeremiah Sells officiating. The family has chosen cremation. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 P.M. – 6 P.M.
