Funeral services for Mr. Arva Dale Johnson, 68, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dyer Family Cemetery in the Philadelphia community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at his residence. He was born August 3, 1949, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jerry Johnson and Mary Dyer Johnson. He was married to the late Donna Jean Johnson, who passed away March 28, 2008. He was a cable splicer by trade, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Earl H. Johnson and Bobby Gerald Johnson. Survivors include 1 Son: Jerry Johnson and wife, Natalie of Xenia, OH; 2 Daughters: Amanda Carol Moore of Xenia, OH, and Deanna Renea Johnson Brewington and husband, Mark of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Dylya Thomas, Gunner James-Dale Johnson, and Weston Lee Cash Johnson; and 1 Brother: Boyd Darel Johnson of Loami, IL.
