Aron "Buck" Johnson

Funeral services for Mr. Aron P. "Buck" Johnson, 81, of the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., Friday from noon - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 18, 1925, in Jackson County to the late Amon Johnson and Mary Daniel Mayberry Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a construction foreman, and was affiliated with the Center Grove Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Willie C. Johnson; and 1 Sister: Lillian Young. Survivors include 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law: James A. and Wilma Johnson, Bobby L. and Wanda Johnson, and Garry and Diane Johnson all of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Darlene Ward, Bobby Jr. Johnson, Tonya Pryor, Sandy Stafford, Shawn Pittman, Misty Chaffin, Shelia Callihan, Jamie Johnson, and Garry Johnson, Jr.; 2 Brothers: Herbert Johnson of Gainesboro, TN, and Joe Johnson of Gary, Indiana; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
