Arnold D. Trevathan

Arnold Derwood Trevathan was born October 26, 1936 in Hopkins County, KY and he passed away at his residence in Hilham on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the age of 87.

Arnold was the son of Richard Trevathan and Louis Sybil Wells Trevathan.  He was a security guard at Sunset Dock and a US Marine Corp Veteran.  On April 6, 1966 he was married to Betty Lucille Hooten for a total of 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Megan S. Trevathan, daughter in law, Michelle Trevathan.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Trevathan of Hilham; sons, Wayne Trevathan, Brent Trevathan, Vincent Trevathan all of Michigan; Joe Trevathan and Arnold R. Trevathan both of Hilham.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive along with other relatives and friends.

Family has chosen cremation and private services will be held at a later date.
