Armel E. Hamlet

Funeral services for Mr. Armel E. Hamlet, 51, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, January 1, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 noon - 9 P. M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Hamlet passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006, at his residence. He was born April 15, 1955, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Masco P. Hamlet & Clara Hensley Hamlet. He was married to the late Connie Moss Hamlet, who passed away on May 10, 1980. Mr. Hamlet was a certified nurse's assistant at Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Melanie Hamlet; 7 Brothers; and 2 Sisters. Survivors include a special friend: Sue Biggs of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Billy & Christie Hamlet of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Chasity Hamlet of Cookeville, TN; his ex-wife: Carolyn Hamlet of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Bayley Gaw, Jacobb Hamlet, and Kaylee Hamlet; and 3 Brothers: Bruce Hamlet of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Johnnie Encil Hamlet of Cleveland, GA, and Fred Hamlet of Bakersville, CA.
