Funeral services for Mrs. Arlene Pippin, 50, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday, July 12, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born May 29, 1963, in Cookeville, TN, to Bonnie Forkum Young and the late Hubert Young. She worked in road construction, and was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Benton and Mary Lee Young; her Maternal Grandparents: Frank and Opal Forkum; 1 Brother: Herbert Marcel Young; and 1 Daughter: Ashley Pippin. Survivors include her Husband: Roger "Flop" Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Tommy (Wendy) Biggs, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN, Donny Pippin of Whitleyville, TN, and Billy Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Jennifer Brazle of Gainesboro, TN, and Lindsay Pippin of Baxter, TN; her Mother: Bonnie Forkum Young of Crossville, TN; 1 Brother: Marty (Janice) Young of Crossville, TN; and 5 Grandchildren: Jason Brazle, Brooklyn Brazle, Elijah Biggs, Ashley Biggs, and Kolton Pippin. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses by contacting the funeral home.
