Archie E. Kilmon

Funeral services for Mr. Archie E. Kilmon, 85, of the Harmony community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Anderson- Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Kettle Creek, KY. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P. M., and on Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1926, in Kettle Creek, KY, to the late James Kilmon and Lydia Kilmon. He was married to the late Avo Kilmon. He was an auto mechanic, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Benton Kilmon; 4 Brothers: Johnny Kilmon, Marvin Kilmon, Harmon Kilmon, and Oliver Kilmon; and 2 Sisters: Ada Scott and Maude Scott. Survivors include 3 Sons: Ricky (Sherry Jo) Kilmon and Archie Kilmon, Jr., all of Gainesboro, TN; and J.C. Kilmon of Clay County, TN; 5 Daughters: Wanda (Gerald) Mathews, Bonnie (George) Flatt, and Joyce (Mark) Mullins, all of Gainesboro, TN; Betty (Jonathan) McBride and Genivieve Kilmon, all of Cookeville, TN; 14 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 4 Step - Grandchildren; and 2 Step-Great Grandchildren.
