Arbie J. Allen

Funeral services for Mr. Arbie J. Allen, 79, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, December 22, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 3 - 9 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Allen passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2004, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 27, 1925, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Tom and Ora Hensley Allen. Mr. Allen was a sawmill worker, a farmer, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. Survivors include His wife: Pauline Allen of the Shiloh Community of Jackson Co., TN; His mother-in-law: Mildred Pippin of the Shiloh Community of Jackson Co., TN; 2 Daughters and Sons-in-law: Carol and Danny Davis of the Shiloh Community, and Annette and Paul Brewer of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: James J. & Laura Davis, Jimmy Paul & Tina Davis, Joshua Brewer, and Amanda Brewer; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Jared Davis, Savannah Davis, and Justin Davis; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister-in-Law: Haskel Allen of Gainesboro, TN, and James and Mary Sue Allen of the Shiloh Community; 2 Sisters and 1 Brother-in-Law: Dimple Pippin and Jewell and Johnny Pippin of the Shiloh Community.
