Anthony Guy

Funeral services for Anthony Guy, 16, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Antioch Community Church Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Anthony passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born April 23, 1992, in Livingston, TN, to Mark Gregory Guy and Sharon Christine Guy. He was a student at Jackson County High School and a member of the Old Antioch Community Church. He loved school, being with his friends, drawing, art, playing guitar, and video games. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Great- Grandparents: James and Hailey Guy and Pat and Ellie Smith; and his Maternal Great-Grandparents: Hubert and Ardie Hammock and Willie and Cora Meade. Survivors include his Parents: Mark Gregory Guy and Sharon Christine Guy of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Jennifer Marie Guy of Gainesboro, TN; his Maternal Grandparents: Ulis and Pauline Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; his Paternal Grandparents: Eston and Joan Stacy of Gainesboro, TN, and Wanda Faye Stacy of Hilham, TN; 1 Uncle: Edward and Lisa Hammock of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Aunt: Therese and Glenn Riley of Rickman, TN; and 6 Cousins: Dereck, Daniel, Matthew, and Dakota Hammock, Arah Riley, and Hannah Riley.
