Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Belle Brown, 76, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Sunday from 11:30 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born September 10, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Uriah Brown and Flora Stafford Brown. She was married to the late James Leonard Brown, who passed away June 7, 1985. She was a factory worker and homemaker. She was a member of the Beech Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Willene Stafford. Survivors include 1 Son: U.L. (Mary) Brown of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Daughter: Sandra Carol Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Rhonda Martin of Knoxville, TN; 1 Great- Grandson: Jakobi Boshers; 1 Brother: John Brown of Pleasant Shade, TN; 2 Sisters: Lella Sullivan of Gainesboro, TN, and Elizabeth (Larry) Howell of Gainesboro, TN; and her Special Friend: Virginia Stafford of Gainesboro, TN.
