Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Lou Young Flatt, 81, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, September 8, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Flatt - Woolbright Cemetery on Flynns Creek Road in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born April 4, 1933, in Cookeville, TN, to the late Thomas Choate and Anna Burgess Choate. She was married to Fenis Flatt, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Benton Young; 1 Brother: Sam Choate; and 3 Sisters: Jewel Sliger, Gladys Guenther, and an infant sister. Survivors include her Husband: Fenis Flatt of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Sons: Benton (Autumn) Young of Cookeville, TN, and Harry (Melissa) Young of Bloomington Springs, TN; 1 Step - Son: Pat (Kim) Flatt of Lafayette, LA; 1 Grandchild: Addison Anna Young; 1 Brother: Tom (Johnnie) Choate of Sparta, TN; and 1 Sister: Virginia (Luther) Fuqua of Cookeville, TN.
