Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Sue Carmack Shepherd, 62, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Scott - Red Hill Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 5, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Melvin Eugene Carmack and Anna Ruth Odum Carmack. She was married to Roy David Shepherd, Sr., who survives. She was a nurses aide, and affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Half-Brother: Johnny Carmack. Survivors include her Husband: Roy David Shepherd, Sr. of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Roy David Shepherd, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Tammy Jean Shepherd of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Maryann Shepherd and Dewey Wayne Shepherd, both of Gainesboro, TN; her Step-Mother: Ruth Phillips Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Jackie (Amy) Carmack of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Wanda Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister-in-Law: Donna Lee Shepherd Goodman; 1 Niece: Tammy Scantland Goodman of Baxter, TN; and 4 Nephews: Timothy Ray Scantland, Jason Spivey, Anthony Spivey, and Mickey Dailey.
