Anna Bulah Birdwell

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Bulah Birdwell, 76, of the Union Hill community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2007, at the Union Hill Church of Christ in Jackson County, TN. Burial will follow in the Union Hill - Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Highway in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M. at the funeral home, and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services at the Union Hill Church of Christ. Mrs. Birdwell passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 24, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jasper L. and Sarah Eva Edmonds Pippin. On May 27, 1948, she was married to the late William Wade Birdwell, who passed away November 29, 1993. She was a homemaker and seamstress, and a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, neighbor, and caring friend to many. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Otha, Boyd, Losier, and Herman Pippin; and 4 Sisters: Velma Birdwell, Flora Dyer, Bessie Pippin, and Stella Birdwell. Survivors include 2 Sons: Loyd (Debbie) Birdwell of Cookeville, TN, and Jeff (Connie) Birdwell of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Daughters: Joyce Birdwell and Debbie Burchett, both of Cookeville, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Kevin Burchett, Chris Burchett, Adam Birdwell, Justin Birdwell, Molly Birdwell, and Nathan Birdwell; 3 Great - Grandchildren: Zach, Anna Marie, and Wyatt Burchett; 1 Brother: J. Fred Pippin of Baxter, TN; and 1 Sister: Lucille Suggs Flatt of Cookeville, TN. Justin Birdwell, Bro. Charles Maxwell, and Bro. Leamon Flatt will officiate at the services.
