Funeral services for Ann Mellema, 73, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 21, 1945, in Wadesboro, NC, to the late Fred H. Terry and Jessie Mae Terry. She was married to the late Dean Mellema. She was an LPN, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Edmund Robins; and 2 Sisters: Girtie Ann Lawhon and Donna Cassidy. Survivors include 1 Son: Charles D. Brown II of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Lori Rush of Gainesboro, TN, and Katherine Naidenoff of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Stepson: Robert (Remonia) Mellema of Cookeville, TN; and 7 Grandchildren: Jacob Brown, Caleb Brown, Chris Brown, Justin Hurt, Joshua Scantland, Rachel Mellema, and Justin Long.
