Ann Meadows Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Meadows Anderson, 68, of Gallatin, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Draper Cemetery in the Wartrace community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Anderson passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009, at Brandywood Golden Living in Gallatin, TN. She was born July 19, 1940, in Celina, TN, to the late Lewis and Maggie Raines Meadows. She was a factory worker and also worked in housekeeping. She was a member of the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Johnny Meadows; and 3 Sisters: Cora Bell Meadows, Jewell Dean Meadows, and Grace Meadows Lane. Survivors include 2 Sons: Garry Allen of Gallatin, TN, and Jimmy (Ashley) Allen of Portland, TN; 1 Daughter: Lisa South of Cape Coral, FL; 4 Grandchildren: Andrew Allen, Elizabeth Kate Allen, Amber Dawn Harris, and Cortez; 2 Great- Grandchildren; Life Long Companion: Robert Archer of Lafayette, TN; and 5 Sisters: Naomi Gentry of Gainesboro, TN, Linda Davenport of Tullahoma, TN, Barbara Langford of Gallatin, TN, Judy Gillum of Hendersonville, TN, and Elaine Kinear of Navarre, FL. Several loving and caring nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Glen Reece will officiate at the services.
