Ann Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Johnson, 93, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Sunday from 11:30 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1924, in Willow Grove, TN, to the late Mose Stover and Pearl Greenwood Stover. On June 11, 1947, she was married to the late Ernest "Pap" Johnson. She was a family service worker at Shiloh Head Start, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Rae Langford, Bonita Little, and Gay Brooks; and 2 Infant Brothers. Survivors include 2 Sons: Philip E. Johnson and Ricky J. Johnson, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter-in-Law: Susan Johnson of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Connie Francis of Glasgow, KY.
