Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Allen, 55, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. She was born April 9, 1955, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Shelby Lynn and Brina Lucille Lynn. On July 16, 1973, she was married to Dwight Allen, who survives. She was a custodian at the Jackson County High School, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Junior Bud Lynn; and 1 Sister: Lorean Davis. Survivors include her Husband: Dwight Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Scotty (Amy) Allen, and Chad Allen, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandchild: Andrew Allen; her Mother-in- Law: Addie Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Joe (Linda) Lynn and Fred Lynn, all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; and 8 Sisters: Modine (Fred) Pruett and Winnie B. (Ken) Craighead, all of Gainesboro, TN; Bobbie Lynn of Celina, TN; Helen (Roy) Kernell, Frances (A.B.) Murphy, and Faye (Phil) Kernell, all of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Gail Lynn of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Patricia (Stephen) Powers of Lafayette, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Matthew Scoggins and Bro.
