Funeral services for Anita Gail Ballard Rhoten, 66, of Hilham, TN, will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Mansell Cemetery in the 7 Knobs community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1954, in Cookeville, TN, to the late Glenous B. Ballard and Retta V. Ballard. She owned an antique mall, and attended the Freewill Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Amy Kay Clinton; and 1 Sister: Paulette Clinton. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Melissa Pebbles Clinton of Hilham, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Katlyn Schebel, Cody Schebel, and Matthew Henley; 3 Great Grandchildren: Amelia Lawson, Kaitlin Schebel, and Sammy Schebel; 1 Brother: Richard Ballard of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Sisters: Debbie Chaffin of Baxter, TN, and Norma Hawkins of Cookeville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
