Funeral services for Mr. Andy M. Scott, 77, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born April 30, 1941, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Morgan Lee Scott and Mamie Martha Scott. He was married to Anna Smith Scott, who survives. He was retired from TDOT, and a member of the Harmony Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Kristie Scott; 3 Brothers: Hamp Scott, Walton Scott, and Curtis Scott; 3 Sisters: Mary Pound, Sally Masters, and Myrtle Phillips; and 1 Step-Son: Ronnie Wilson Hicks, Jr. Survivors include his Wife: Anna Smith Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Tony Scott of Morristown, TN, Greg Scott of Gainesboro, TN, and Shawn Scott of Silver Point, TN; 1 Daughter: Lisa Sullivan and husband, Randy, of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Step-Daughter: Tonya Hicks of Gainesboro, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Anthony Morgan Scott, Drew Parker Scott, Matthew Lee Scott, Megan Michelle Scott, Jessica R. Oakley, Brittany L. Franklin, Charlie S. Savage, Brandon D. Scott, Cameron Scott, and Danielle Jewell Henry; 8 Great Grandchildren: Parker Ray, Kenli, Xavier, Abigail, Oliver, Cooper, Ametria, and Atrivum; 3 Brothers: Richard Scott of Gainesboro, TN, Odell (Marie) Scott of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN, and Jerry Scott of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Matilda Stewart of Cookeville, TN, Carolyn (Wade) Burris of Gainesboro, TN, and Cathy (Charles) Stafford of Algood, TN.
